InSciEd Out Teachers present at international science meeting

InSciEd Out Rochester and InSciEd Out Brevard teachers from the 2017 internship cohorts were given the opportunity to earn travel awards to present at the Zebrafish Disease Models Society 2017 annual meeting in San Diego, California.

 The winners participated in the Ambassador’s Accessibility Program by the Zebrafish Disease Models Society Education Research Interest Group. This program is led by InSciEd Out co-founder Dr. Chris Pierret and Dr. Michael Pickart of Concordia University Wisconsin.

We recognize the outstanding science conducted by our teachers. Rochester awardees included Allison Schroeder, Elissa Robinson, Cara Felderman, and Linnea Archer. Brevard Awardees included Nicole and Erin Cassidy, Clara Gill, Chris Juricak, Brittany Zengotita, and Katie Squires.
